Big Rig Truck Crash on 5 Freeway Leads to Multiple Lane Closures
Two big rig trucks collided on the 5 freeway Wednesday leading to multiple lane closures.
The crash happened just before 7 AM on January 10th, 2024 near Smokey Bear Road by the Grapevine, about 30 miles north of Santa Clarita.
The numbers 2,3,and 4 lanes have been closed for an undetermined amount of time. Any injuries have yet to be reported.
Truck accidents can lead to serious injuries for those involved. Recent studies reveal over 2,000 injuries in crashes on 5 Freeway alone.
