5 Injured in Amtrak Crash with a Semi-Truck in Ventura County
A collision between an Amtrak train and a semi-truck led to five people to being rushed to the hospital in Ventura County Tuesday night.
The crash happened around 6:30 PM along SR-118. According to the Ventura County Fire Department, six cars on the Amtrak train were involved, one of which derailed.
The five passengers injured were treated for minor injuries.
