C&B Law Group Scholarship Opportunities
At C&B Law Group, we believe in the future, and that it starts in our own communities. The Los Angeles area is filled with rich history and pride among its residents. We know that within each neighborhood, there are students passionate about various causes that will shape LA for generations to come. We also realize that higher education can be difficult to afford. These daring students shouldn’t be financially burdened when trying to pursue their hopes and dreams. With that in mind, we are proud to announce the following academic scholarships:
- C&B Law Group’s Empowerment Through Education Scholarship for recent high school graduates or undergraduate college students at an accredited university. The chosen recipient will receive $1,000 to further their educational journey.
- C&B Law Group’s Future Legal Leaders Scholarship for law school students. The selected recipient will be awarded $1,500 to help advance their legal education.
Official rules and guidelines:
Empowerment Through Education Scholarship – $1,000
General Rules:
The student must:
- be a US citizen or a permanent resident
- be a senior in high school or undergraduate student at an accredited college or university
- have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- demonstrate community involvement with the Los Angeles metropolitan area
Application Requirements:
- Students must submit a 1-2 minute video answering the following prompt:
- “Describe a personal challenge you have overcome and how it has influenced your decision to pursue a career in law. How do you envision using your legal education to make a difference in your community or society?”
- Students must upload a video to YouTube or a similar platform and provide the URL in their application.
- Students must include an unofficial copy of their high school or college transcripts.
Additional Details:
- This is a one-time, monetary scholarship award and is to be used for academic tuition only.
- Once winners have been selected, the scholarship awards will be given to the winner’s school to be used towards tuition and school expenses.
- If an awardee is unable to claim the scholarship within 6 months, it may be awarded to another candidate.
- Candidates who are offered a scholarship must agree to the scholarship’s terms and conditions in order to receive the scholarship.

Future Legal Leaders Scholarship – $1,500
General Rules:
The student must:
- be a US citizen or a permanent resident
- be currently enrolled in Law School
- have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- demonstrate community involvement with the Los Angeles metropolitan area
Application Requirements:
- Students must submit a 1-2 minute video answering the following prompt:
- “Discuss a current issue in the legal field that you are passionate about and how you plan to address it in your legal career.”
- “Discuss a current issue in the legal field that you are passionate about and how you plan to address it in your legal career.”
- Students must upload a video to YouTube or a similar platform and provide the URL in their application.
- Students must include an unofficial copy of their college transcripts.
